Once upon a time young Billy waited patiently for Prince Charming to rescue him from his commoner’s life so they could live in some far off kingdom where there would be lots of waltzing. And princess dresses. Many years passed before his Prince finally arrived, a downright enchanting man half Billy’s age and as straight as an arrow… But did these facts stop Billy from dreaming of their happily ever after? Dream on…

So here is his true life fable, a one-man middle-age-ed cautionary tale warning us to be careful whom you crush on, for you might just get crushed.

Teamed up once again with director Perry Dell’Aquila, Mr. Hipkins developed this fairy tale with the generous support of the Emerging Artists Theatre New Work Series in NYC. Although Billy is not actively looking for Prince Charming at this time, he would love to meet someone willing to fund his little play writing habit and help get this solo show in front of lots of audiences.
